The Europa League final between Manchester United and Tottenham in Bilbao tonight at 8 p.m. has prompted Amad and six other players to resort to social media.
Even though their domestic campaign was underwhelming, United still has a chance to get Champions League football in the upcoming season if they win European hardware. With Ange Postecoglou’s team currently in 17th place, just one point behind United, Tottenham has also had a disappointing season.
In their pursuit of new players this summer, Ruben Amorim and important people behind the scenes would greatly benefit from qualifying for the Champions League. Amad posted a pre-match graphic preview alongside Casemiro, Leny Yoro, Diogo Dalot, Manuel Ugarte, Andre Onana, and Alejandro Garnacho ahead of the big match.
According to history, this implies that they will probably all be engaged in some way. After starting on the substitute bench for both legs of the semi-final matchup with Athletic Bilbao, Amad will be keen to get the starting lineup.
