Manchester United Set for Busy Summer After Matheus Cunha Arrival
Manchester United have already made their first move in the summer transfer window with the signing of Matheus Cunha last week. The club has been planning for the window for a while and may still face a hectic few months as more deals are expected to follow.
The transfer window officially opened on Sunday, giving United a 10-day head start to complete early business before the June 10 deadline ahead of the Club World Cup. Following that, the window will reopen on June 16 and stay open until it closes on September 1.
Manchester United may remain quite active in the transfer market over the coming weeks, with both incoming and outgoing moves likely.
The club has already made one signing, bringing in Matheus Cunha from Wolves. United quickly triggered the Brazilian forward’s £62.5 million release clause at Molineux to kick-start their summer business.

The total package for the 18-year-old left-back is believed to be around £7 million, including an upfront payment of £3.3 million. Leon is expected to officially join United in July, having signed a pre-contract earlier this year.
