Leverkusen have set a valuation of approximately €150 million for the Germany international, though a compromise on the final fee is possible based on how the deal is structured, including upfront payment and performance-related add-ons.
Bayern have pursued Wirtz for several years and were long considered his most likely next destination, despite significant interest from Liverpool and Manchester City over the past year.
